MEET THE ARTIST
Amanda Pērez is an illustrator and graphic designer with a passion for seasons, tidy layouts, picnics at sunset and her cats.
Working in aviation since her early 20s, she explores her love of foreign cultures studying Translation while traveling the world. Kyōto and the American Pacific coast soon become home, honing her sensitivity to nature, clean minimal design and traditional handcrafts.
The spring of 2018 she founds Bruin Studio. A space to develop the projects that make her heart sing through which she has been invited to sell her artwork, do solo exhibitions, speaking events and teach workshops on Japanese crafts.
She currently draws, gardens and lives with her two cats − Aran and June − in the western coast of Sweden.
